I know more about the =than the Swedish ancestors, but like you and what granddaughter said, it's so nice to be "recognized" for who you are. In Sweden, I took an English brochure at a museum and the clerk shook her head and handed me the Swedish version. I looked Swedish to her. Yay.

Flew another airline and got no liquor, but loved Sweden and Denmark. Found a 1910 photo of my great grandfather Anders Elmqvist in a museum in Tidaholm, where he grew up, and visited the town 30 miles away where my other grandfather, Nils Johansson grew up. Looking at the 1910 Tidaholm photo, and then looking at me, my granddaughter Kayla said, ‘Grandpa, he looks a lot line you!’…
